Born on 13 DEC 1875 in Providence, Rhode Island. 1901 Census of Canada says 13 DEC 1876. George Morrow died in Oxford, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, on 1 AUG 1934; he was 58. Buried on 3 AUG 1934 in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford, Nova Scotia, Canada. Occupation: Machinist.
The death certificate of George M. McIntosh says he was married and that he died at Oxford, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia on 1 August 1934. It is interesting to note that his date of birth is December 13, 1875 and his birthplace is Nova Scotia, but Nova Scotia is crossed out and replaced with Providence, (Rhode Island), USA. He was 58 years and 7 months old when he died and he was in the Province of Nova Scotia for 57 years. If this is true, George was born in Providence, Rhode Island and returned to Nova Scotia when he was about 19 months old. The death certificate also says that he lived in Oxford for 45 years. The informant of his death was Mrs. May Hills, of Oxford, Nova Scotia.
In 1908 when George Morrow was 32, he married Nellie M. WOOD. Born in 1873. Nellie M. died in 1957; she was 84. Buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Margaret Mary McINTOSH.
Born on 2 JAN 1886 in Oxford, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada. 1901 Census of Canada says 12 JAN 1886. Margaret Mary died in 1978; she was 91. Buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. Buried next to Her father, Duncan McIntosh. Alias/AKA: MacKintosh, MacKintoch, May Hills.
Margaret was living in her father’s home with her daughter, Bessie M. Hills during the 1911 Canada Census.
On 29 DEC 1908 when Margaret Mary was 22, she first married Roland McKay HILLS, son of George HILLS & Jean L. MITCHELL. Book: 1811 - Page: 103 - Number: 250. Rev. G.S. Mitchell. Witnesses: Jean S. Mitchell and Nellie M. McIntosh. Born on 21 OCT 1883 in Oxford, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Resided in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Occupation: Machinist.
In 1942 when Margaret Mary was 55, she second married Rev. George R. KYLE, son of Robert KYLE & Margaret ROBINSON. Born on 11 FEB 1885 in Ireland. George R. died in Oxford, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, on 5 FEB 1955; he was 69. Buried on 7 FEB 1955 in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. Occupation: Clergyman.
George Robinson Kyle emigrated to Canada about 1930 from Ireland. He last worked as a clergyman in 1946 having spent 30 years in the ministry. The informant of his death was his wife: Margaret Mary Kyle.
