Born on 18 MAR 1869. Catherine died in 1966; she was 96. Was on the census for 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901 Census of Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Buried in Brookside Cemetery, Nova Scotia, Canada. Alias/AKA: /Cassie/.
She raised the seven children of Harry S. Cutter in Stellarton, Nova Scotia.
Catherine first married Dr. Andrew MACGREGOR, son of Donald MACGREGOR & Mary Jane MACGILLIVRAY. Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada. Occupation: Physician.
Andrew MacGregor was a physician in Providence, Rhode Island until ill health made him give up his practice and return to Glencoe, Nova Scotia, Canada.
My Internet friend, Nancy Haddox, sent me this email on 3/13/05 that she received from Barry MacKenzie:
"... Dr. MacGregor, lived in town, died young. Son of Donald MacGregor, Mary Jane MacGillivray and therefore grandson of Andrew, GGson of Donald" (MacGregor) who married Isabella (?). Donald and Isabella came on the ship Sarah in 1801 with William MacKenzie and Flora MacMillan.
Catherine second married Harry S. CUTTER. Born in 1865. Harry S. died in 1948; he was 83. Buried in Brookside Cemetery, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Harry S. Cutter had a family of 7 before his marriage to Catherine MacDonald.

Isabel married Duncan MACDONALD. Alias/AKA: Paul.
Duncan MacDonald lived in Glencoe, Nova Scotia until 1913. He then moved to Squamish, British Columbia.

On 20 JUN 1900 when Robert Frederick was 24, he married Elizabeth MACPHEE, daughter of John MACPHEE (1849-1919) & Jessie A. CHISHOLM (1860-1929). Born on 8 DEC 1879 in Westville, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Elizabeth died in Providence, Rhode Island, on 12 MAY 1972; she was 92.
The Pictou County Free Lance of 23 January 1920 states that Robert and Libby formerly lived in Glencoe, Pictou County, Nova Scotia. I do not know what this citation refers to since Robert appears in the 1920 US Census living in Providence, Rhode Island.

Allan Duncan Grant MacDonald was very musical. He had a fine deep bass voice and played the violin for dances in his youth. In his later years he sang in lyric choirs and men's choirs. He lived and farmed in Glencoe where he ran the Mapleshade Farm.
On 8 OCT 1918 when Allan Duncan Grant was 33, he married Annie Laura DAWSON, daughter of William DAWSON & Agnes Kerr Love. Born in 1894. Annie Laura died in 1985; she was 91. School Teacher. Occupation: schoolteacher.
Annie Laura Dawson was the daughter of a Presbyterian minister, Rev. William Dawson.
