Alexander Grant and Elizabeth Catherine Cameron were second cousins.
In 1890 when Alexander was 21, he married Elizabeth Catherine CAMERON, daughter of Angus CAMERON (1837-1916) & Flora MACKENZIE (10 DEC 1839-1917). Born on 28 MAY 1871. Elizabeth Catherine died on 19 FEB 1961; she was 89. Buried in Grant Fraser Cemetery. Was on the census for 1881, 1891, 1901 Pictou County Census.
